lyrics

i wish you'd smile at me
cause these people frighten me
& i was stumbling thru tokyo with swollen hands
watching people turn to mirrors at the edge of my lens
& i can't make a sound.
humble anarchist, i know you tire of this
but i saw you walking once with another man
you turned your face to show you don't know who i am
how am i supposed to feel?

there's a whole lot of ink i've used to try & make you extinct

hour glassy eyes, you come by both day & night
so your memory is hardly then left unattended
like the shattered tears & tiny fragments of moments when we'd unitedly erode our trust in companions & friends or the waters beneath the ships
we gave all we learned such a horrible twist til we were fumbling around with the lights out feeling for the switch that'd turn us back into the ones we were when we met but we just turned away.
